Axe 1: preparing the future
For 5 years our researchers have been interested in the vegetable proteins contained in the seeds to imagine new applications. 2019 saw some tangible results, with projects driven forward in three markets: construction materials, animal nutrition and food.
Another area of innovation for Avril: naturality with biosourced solutions from oleochemistry that offer greener cosmetics for example, or bacterial flora for farmed livestock. Finally, several projects aim to encourage virtuous agricultural practices in response to the climate challenge and societal expectations.
